So, finally got some time to get this thread up and running. Yes, I copied the official title for the thread because it looked nice. Link to the full list of strips. I haven't found it on any other websites, so I presume that this is the main one.

Anyway, let's talk about the comic in question. I originally thought that because the Barros' shot the scroll, it caused some sort of 'ownership' (you break it, you buy it) which - with their death - made it (or something associated with it) pass to the closest relative. And it seems I might be right, in a sense, because the titles that the Hierophant is listing to Fall? That's nascent-apocalypse stuff.

Hmm. I interpreted it as the Hierophant cursing Fall because her parents (or whatever, I'm not gonna assume too hard) destroyed the scroll. However, I think I like your explanation better.

It took me FOREVER to realize Fall was actually the kid of the cops in the first strip...like until today, actually. I do wonder now though if she is actually fully human or something else entirely.

The (kinda awesome) glowing eyes would seem to suggest that there's a little more than basic humanity going on where Fall is concerned, yeah.

Small typo in panel 19 (I think) of episode 24.

"Seargeant" should be "Sergeant".

Woop, thanks. I will note that for revision.

Just noticed in the "Bat on your face" page that her hands are backwards on the bat. She's gripping it like a lefty but swinging with a righty stance.

Probably not a huge deal, and anybody that doesn't play baseball might actually do that, but it jumped out at me. :3

Oh woop, thanks. I'll add that to print revision notes and change it if it's not too difficult to do so when it comes to that stage.

I'm curious - are you ambidextrous or cross-eye dominant (right handed with a dominant left eye or vice versa)? I've noticed people who are tend to cross their grip like that instinctively, and I remember Dang did the same thing with a rifle in Deluge, so then I wondered if you might be intuitively doing it yourself when you're pantomiming the pose while drawing. :)

I'm not ambidextrous but I might be cross-eye-dominant. I've never really thought about which eye is dominant.

Is it just me, or is the building in the first panel of comic 46 inspired by the Halcyon Hall of Bennet School for Girls?

(The middle part unfortunately collapsed several years ago so the facade is gone. Also it's supposed to be demolished by now, but there were some despites around who's gonna pay for the demolition.)

Yup! It's totally based on that building!

not sure if this is a typo in #50 - Shimizu: "What if we both got prettified?" (emphasis mine)

Yeah that's a typo. But a hilarious one. It's been noted for eventual revision.
