I am officially creeped out by the doll wind-chime.

Also, I saw the kickstarter pages, but until today never say the "RUDE!" page. Which at least cleared up that the guy worked for Mason - or at least Una thought he did. Obviously that's what she smelled - Mason's scent on the guy.

Been a crazy busy few months. My hope is to have pages going up again before Rose City Comic Con in early September but I still have a lot on my plate so we'll see.

:D OK, that was a funny comment, msouth.

But I'm still wondering ... it's been quite a while without an update. This is not a complaint, as it's a free product that I enjoy with little or no effort on my part. So I post to offer feedback, if nothing else.

A PAGE! A NEW PAGE!!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEE! (I've missed you)

And I love how it just picks up right after the last one, as if there was never a four-month hiatus!

Does the man know just HOW "unique" Una is? He certainly seems to have some kind of understanding about her. But I like how he just accepts her.

I do find it a little odd that a place like Arbutus (isolated arcology in the ocean) could have homeless people. The totalitarian state attitude generally doesn't tolerate that level of independence, even if it is just the independence to starve.

WHOA UPDATE

Is the way Una verbally repeats sounds a nod to Kevin Smith's Onomotopeia?

Someday... someday Sword Interval won't be on the way of Derelict.

Bold prediction: Homeless guy is Harold Mason. Even he can't afford the Arbutus taxes.

So happy to see a new page up! I think I checked a month ago and it looks like this must have been posted shortly afterwards. Want to let you know that your loyal readers are still here for the best comic on the net! Hugs!

I didn't see the latest update when it happened. Can you check the RSS feed? It still has a bunch of Sword Interval stuff in the descriptions, and also maybe an off-by-one thing where the title is one ahead of the link by one (like the title refers to strip id 258 but the link is for strip id 257.

Dang, it's already been a year and half since Sword Interval started? How time flies... Glad to hear you're doing well and haven't forgotten about Derelict, and I hope everything settles down enough for it to work out. Meanwhile, there's still cool stuff on Patreon :)

And also, not about the comic, wow the spam. Is there a way to mass-delete the posts of the spammers or something?

It is a huge relief to know that you're still out there. Having a story go into Limbo is really depressing to us loyal readers. I AM aware that it's a free product and I'm truly not wanting to snark at you. Time management is a lovely thing, but it doesn't make time magically appear, unfortunately.

Do what you need to do for your health and happiness. I'll randomly check Derelict (and a few other "dead-in-the-water" webcomics I miss) from time to time to see if you've had a brainstorm, but I really hope you'll be able to do something soon (ish). Do you have any feel for the number of pages in this particular book? And how many books did you anticipate writing about Dang and her world?

I have no ability whatever to create, but I sure do admire those who do. Derelict stands high in my list of amazing, creative, unique products out in the webcomic world. It's also probably the "darkest" story I read. But even so, you inject a fair amount of humor.

Ah, well - keep on truckin' on, and I hope all goes well for you, and you can add to Dang's world again when you have the time. At the least, post an occasional "Still here!" message, please :)

I so hope that "this summer" means summer of 2017, not summer of 2016. Feed seems to be dorky and it did not showed that last text page as unread for me, so I have no idea how long it has been sitting there. I hope that you will manage to keep your full-time web-comic job AND find time to work on the Derelict. This comic is too awesome to go into the hiatus wastelands forever. Honestly, I'd be completely fine in "every next something" schedule of the new pages.

I'm surprised Derelict is not bringing enough cash to sustain itself. I mean the first book got kickstarted so I guess the audience is there. Badly set up pricing for that kickstarter?

Also I wonder how much interest there is for the book from overseas....? I'm in Europe and just cannot afford to drop $35 for one book (shipping is $15). Perhaps amazon.co.uk or .de fulfillment could bring in some profit..
