"Feral" miasmics? As opposed to what? Domesticated foggers? Civilized foggers? And is a gargoyle another name for fogger or a different type of miasmic?
So many questions. But keep your mask handy or you might find out for yourself.

The creatures have a number of terms associated with them.
Miasmic is the official word.
Fogger and Gargoyle are common slang.

Has much time passed between the gargoyle sequence and the hair cutting?

I'm assuming this rainy part doesn't take place in California, since Dang said she was heading north early, but her hair does seem longer. Then again, that could be because of the rain weighing it down, so I'm not sure.

Also, where was the reference to foggers and miasmics? This is probably just me being a bit dim with details again, like before :P

Some vague chunk of time has passed and yes, her hair is longer.

Miasmic was on the map, Fogger was figured out as another name by those that looked at the playlist.

Yes.

ALSO. She's salvaging and whatnot along her way, not going right for a new destination, so that slows her down a lot. She could park the boat somewhere and spend days on one salvage operation.

I could see this being a really awesome concept for an online game :P Like a zombie apocalypse but with more salvaging and psychic wales (we're still getting psychic wales, right?)

163,696 Square Miles!

EDIT: You mentioned in the announcement that you'd been getting lots of new readers recently.

About how many do you have? (And how does it compare to PD at its peak?)

I missed this months ago cause it was an edit!

I don't remember what readership was at the time you asked this, but currently it's about 2/3 what PD had.

Most people say it Floater, Flooter, or Flowter. I have stopped correcting them unless they ask.

For once my tendency to interpret pronounciation as German has paid off!

Heh heh, I reached that point where I stopped bothering to correct people mispronouncing my surname, too. A loooong time ago :7
